This course will benefit new managers, people progressing into managerial roles, or managers wanting a fresher.
As technical expertise grows and individuals progress towards becoming industry specialists, there may be an increased requirement to manage teams, projects, and workloads. While technical skills are often developed through experience, managing and leading others can require a different set of capabilities. This course explores the communication skills needed to support team members, approaches to effective delegation, and techniques for providing constructive feedback. Participants will also be introduced to strategies for building positive team relationships and developing resilience to manage the challenges and pressures that leadership responsibilities can bring.
