The aim of this module is to provide you with a clear and practical introduction to financial reporting under UK GAAP. 

Through exploring who UK GAAP applies to, the role of the Financial Reporting Council (FRC) and the legislative framework governing UK financial reporting, you will develop the knowledge needed to identify entity size, apply the appropriate reporting standard and understand the key components of a set of financial statements.

  • determine entity size and application of the correct financial reporting standard. 
  • describe the components of a set of financial statement
