We have redesigned the Mercia website and put a powerful, enhanced Learning Hub at its heart. This will make your training journey more intuitive and personalised than ever before.
Improved and intuitive
The new website offers improved navigation, clearer product information, and a more intuitive layout - helping you discover Mercia’s services and solutions with ease. Alongside it, the Learning Hub is your central destination for managing your CPD, booking training courses and tracking progress.
It offers a centralised learning experience with courses, CPD records, manuals and compliance products all in one place.
New features in the single, streamlined platform include a seamless CPD journey, the ability to create cohorts with common training goals, integrated News and Insights as well as a dedicated place to create and file your own notes on the training you have undertaken.
Set your goals
The ‘My Objectives’ tab of the hub allows you to set personal and professional learning objectives and targets in addition to tracking your progress. It is now possible to track progress by the courses undertaken, by the hours worked or a combination of the two.
Users can also create a Learning Path which enables you to connect your objectives with relevant courses as well as keeping a record of learning and achievements.
This personalises your development supporting you in setting goals and defining your learning objectives, so you can learn at your own pace — on your own terms.
Team trackers and cohorts
Team leaders and managers will benefit from new features allowing progress to be tracked at both firm-wide and team levels as well as to set objectives.
The ‘My Team Tracker’ section of the hub allows managers to track how far long their team are by showing progress against personal objectives.
Using ‘Cohorts’ Mercia Power Users can create cohorts from within their teams and set tailored learning paths with common objectives and arranged courses to ensure that the whole team is moving in the right direction.
Smarter course management
Mercia’s online training library of on-demand courses is easier to navigate than ever before thanks to improved search functionality. It is now possible to search for courses by keyword, by date or by whether they are still in progress or completed.
Book face-to-face, live, or on-demand training, and create your own learning playlists for simple planning and progress tracking.
The new ‘My Notes’ tab lets users record their thoughts and store them in one convenient place. Notes can be associated with specific Training Records or Objectives.
‘My Training Record’ shows all the Mercia courses that you have completed. These are automatically verifiable for CPD hours.
There is also the ability to add in CPD hours that have been undertaken outside of Mercia’s courses. If these require verifying then there is the option to upload evidence, such as noted reflections, in order to do so.
Insightful information
A dedicated ‘News and Insights’ section allows you to stay informed by connecting directly to a wealth of Mercia resources.
There is access to the latest tax, accounting and audit news. In addition, you’ll have easily find our ‘How to’ guides as well as expert opinions from our podcasts and blogs.
The ‘My Entitlements’ also show’s Mercia members which courses, webinars and other useful things they can access within their current subscriptions.
