There is also the flexibility to ‘customise’ a download suitable for your engagement. For every new assignment, you will need to navigate to our website to obtain the most up to date version.

The principal changes in this update aim to provide updated links and other minor amends.
September 2023
The principal technical changes in this update include:
- The reconfiguring of the guidance notes.
July 2023
A number of minor amendments / improvements have been made to sections of the manual, including updating engagement letters to reflect latest guidance.
Other amendments include.
- Content relating to SRA AR2011 removed
- Content for accounting periods up to and including 25 November 2019 is no longer applicable and has been removed
- New Client Checklist form included in the current file documents.
July 2021
This update is primarily to include an option for assignments which are conducted entirely under the SRA Accounts Rules which took effect on 25 November 2019 and remove the option for assignments conducted entirely under the SRA Accounts Rules 2011.
There are also some changes regarding the method of delivery for the manual.
