A number of minor amendments / improvements have been made to other sections of the manual, including updating engagement letters to reflect latest guidance.

November 2021
The latest version of Insurance Brokers and Mortgage Intermediaries Manual (ROI) has been released in November 2021.

This update primarily deals with:

• Criminal Justice (Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing) Acts 2010 to 2021 - references in sample engagement letters to relevant anti-money laundering legislation have been updated;
• Minimum professional indemnity insurance cover - cover limits for broker intermediaries have been amended from the previous limits to €1.3m and €1.925m, in aggregate, and;
• The format of the sample auditor’s report has been updated to reflect the current format for periods commencing on or after 15 December 2019.
