Auditors Roundup (ROI) 2022

Kathryn Burns & Jonathan McGee of the Mercia Ireland group will present this popular annual review of what is topical in the world of auditing and practice. This is a one-day update emphasising the practical rather than the technical and will be presented as an online Mercia Live event with opportunities to ask questions. The course deals with the major changes affecting practitioners in 2022 and those likely to impact in 2023.

Kathryn Burns FCA AITI CTA

Kathryn joined Mercia Ireland in 2008. She is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland. She trained in Horwath Bastow Charleton (HBC) in Dublin and spent a further 2 years working in the Corporate Finance department of Farrell Grant Sparks (FGS) in Dublin, following which she worked as a technical executive with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants (ICPA). Kathryn’s role in Mercia involves conducting compliance reviews and the maintenance of audit technical products.

Jonathan McGee BBS FCA

Jonathan joined Mercia Ireland in 2007. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland. He trained in Gilroy Gannon in Sligo and spent a further 3 and half years working in the audit department of OSK in Dublin, following which he worked as a financial accountant with Bank of Ireland. Jonathan’s role in Mercia primarily involves conducting compliance reviews and presenting training courses.
