Marketing Administrator (Maternity Cover)

Main Purpose of Role

Working as part of our fantastic Mercia Marketing team you will be responsible for the following areas;

  • Manage technical aspects of key marketing systems such as marketing automation (Marketo) and CRM (Salesforce) used to generate, distribute, and report on leads.
  • You will lead on all marketing technology, you will evaluate current and prospective software to streamline the process and improve performance/efficiency across all departments
  • Establish and maintain scalable processes that ensure best practices in campaign and lead management
  • Create and maintain metrics reports on marketing and sales activities and effectiveness and business impact
  • Monitor campaigns to optimise performance based on industry best practices
  • Provide recommendations that enhance future campaign performance and measurements
  • Develop robust KPIs and dashboards for marketing performance monitoring
  • Produce and maintain metrics reports on marketing campaigns and sales activities and their effectiveness
  • Evaluate new technologies and add-on applications to improve and optimise marketing team performance
  • You will ensure end-to-end marketing processes are documented with a relevant owner and governance is in place to ensure these are communicated and followed by all colleague
  • You will lead on and ensure that all individuals across the business are aware of the importance of data quality and aware of the steps they need to take to continually maintain and improve client data
  • Manage and drive enhancements to our core marketing technology stack – explore new product enhancements, integration with existing workflows, etc.
  • Create and refine automated nurturing email campaigns. Acting as the lead and super-user for marketing automation (Marketo)

Skills and Experience Required

You will also need;

  • Excellent data management and reporting skills
  • Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written skills)
  • Ability to organise and prioritise multiple tasks and projects

Desirable

  • Previous experience in Marketing Operations position or similar data & technology role
  • Familiarity with Umbraco or other similar content management systems
  • Previous experience with Marketing Automation platforms such as Marketo and CRM platforms such as Salesforce would be an advantage
  • Experience with other aspects of marketing is an advantage
